Woman throws out first football to commemorate start of new season……

“Wing Right 31 Dive, on two. Ready, hut, hut….”

I know many of you women out there are not looking forward to this weekend when football, 2012 edition, kicks off.  There are various reasons for this, but it’s best explained in my post of last year, Requiem for a Relationship.

However, I thought I would point out that there is at least one woman who has a  love for the game that exceeds all. This poor creature, whose significant other is unfortunately incarcerated as of this writing, chose a unique way of saying “we may not be together in body, but they’ll never take away our spirit of the pigskin.”  Read here

  2. Because I throw like a girl and am reminded of it by the male members of my family (no matter how many times they’ve tried to show me differently), I couldn’t have done this.

    1. I’ve worked on her for years and just when I think she is coming around she’ll say “I’m going shopping, want to come?” during a crucial playoff game. She does like to watch the super bowl though. We sat in her hospital room the night before her heart surgery to watch the super bowl. It helped take her mind off the next day.
