Sorry, but this will be my last post…..

I’m really going to miss you all. It’s been a blast blogging with you and making a lot of new friends. But here’s even worse news. You’re quitting too. As you must know by now, 12/21/2012 is the last day on the Mayan calendar and for the earth. Armageddon. Kaputski. Sayonara. Hasta la Vista y’all.  I need the next 10 days to work on my bucket list.

On the bright side, at least we don’t have to worry about New Year’s resolutions and it finally looks like we’ll all be soon getting what we’ve always wanted. Freshly Pressed!

end of world

  1. I’ve waited a bit, in case the prophesiy is correct but they just got the day wrong by a small margin. But here we are on the 15th, and everything from the kettle through to the central heating seems to be functioning with the smooth brilliance you come to expect of domestic life-support systems, So hopefully many more great posts from you, and non-sensical answers from me

  2. We’ll all be Freshly PRessed – and how! This whole end=of-the-world thing made shopping so much easier this year since I didn’t have to worry about getting gifts for most of my family. The only problem is I’ll still have to go to the in-laws Christmas party since it’s on THIS side of everlasting death. Dang.

  3. Yes, I’ve been preparing, too, Al. In my Christmas card letter this year, I said all the things I really wanted to say to some people but was afraid to say. I’ve calculated the mailing time so that each will receive their letters just as the end comes. Sure hope you aren’t wrong about this.

  4. Have you bought Christmas gifts? I’m on the fence about that. On the one hand, I’d like to save the money (although you can’t take it with you) but on the other I hate to be shopping in those few remaining days before Christmas.

What people fail to consider is we are already well past the 21st of December according to the Mayan Calendar as they did not take leap year and daylight savings time into consideration when they were making the calendar. “-)

Your turn to write, but please don't be wittier than me. My ego is quite fragile.
