Thought for Thursday….words to live by.

Knowing how all my readers zealously anticipate my every blog, and how they are raptly attuned to every word therein, I am starting new series called “Thought for Thursday.” They will be short, concise, and as usual, a revelation to you all.

To tantalize you about what’s in store for you, I submit my first entry below:

“Never put off ’til tomorrow what you can get out of doing altogether!”

If you have one of your own that you would like me to publish, let me know in comments and I will credit it to you when posted.

Your pal, Al

  1. “I just want you to know that, when we talk about war, we’re really talking about peace.”

Sorry, “I can resist everything but temptation”

Loving the new header! Will be over soon…. how big is your guest suite?

        1. I was referring to the guest suites. Be sure to give us plenty of notice so we will be sure that none of the service staff will be off that week.

          Love that 2nd quote.

    1. Really like that one, Barb. It’s going to have a permanent home on my “thoughts that keep me awake at night” page. Thanks. I think.

  2. Did you take the header pic? It’s just fab. You always have such nice ones.
I love the thought for the day too. Funny, but with a element of truth in it too.

    1. Thanks. Yes that is the beach just one block from our house. We love walking the dogs there. Appreciate your remark and thanks again.

  3. I like the cut of your jib. And I don’t say that to just anyone.

Is that a new header picture? Lovely, lovely, lovely. You should pass out a hammock and a margarita with each viewing.

    1. You’ve got a pretty nice looking jib there yourself, Peg.

We’ll have the Margaritas ready for you whenever you guys come this way!

The picture is the beach we walk with the pups every day…..jealous yet?

    1. Brain cells are over-rated, don’t you think? If they were paramount, why would WordPress ever give me a vehicle like this to expose the few that I have.

‘If you need a lift, then read Al’s blog’, or ‘It’s only the end of the road if you don’t go around the bend’, or ‘If someone tells you that something is going to be character building, it’s no fun’..Ooppss that’s three, I know I am being greedy! ‘:-) x

Your turn to write, but please don't be wittier than me. My ego is quite fragile.
