What’s a guy to do……??

As if the decision on who to vote for (or against) wasn’t difficult enough (see my last post), it’s now nigh on to impossible. Madonna has offered to give me oral sex if I vote for Hillary.

On the other end (double entendre intended) Miley Cyrus has told me I can kiss her derrière if I vote for Trump.

These are the times I really wish I could vote twice.

              1. Keysian economics does. And what’s the matter with socialism?asked my neighbor. Socialism isn’t communism as practiced in the USSR. Read ‘The Bankers Who Broke the World’. Tax cuts for the wealthy will worsen our debt/deficit problem.

PS Don’t forget, although I am just a girl, I was the manager of the State and Local Economics group when I worked in the Finance Dept at Verizon.

                1. Churchill said it best “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.” You can quote all the books you want, I live in the real world.

And who said anything about male versus female? For a minute, I thought I was corresponding with Lena Dunham.

                  1. Lena Durham?

Read several books about Churchill in the process of writing a research paper about him for a history grad class. Wrote another research paper about Thatcher. Was enamored with both until I learned more.

Just today, I read about Churchill and Lord Kitchener in a chapter on Gallipoli in a book on WWI in the Middle East. Had read about this theatre of war in a grad class on the the British Empire in the twentieth century.

Quite an interesting man was Churchill, but he didn’t know much about economics. Very few wealthy people do, certainly not Donald.

And I don’t know who Lena Durham is.

  1. That’s the spirit! No more voter apathy with those kind of incentives (at least for the male folks). But what’s incentivizing us women to hit the polls? And if you come back with a pole dancing comment, that just means I can still read your mind, Al! 🙂

    1. Yes, that’s true, back in 2008 I thought she was a better choice than Obama. Of course, I also thought a sharp stick in the eye was better than Obama.

You have the best sense of humor of anybody I know. The lefties have none, and that includes the two vulgar skanks you mentioned. Come to think of it, I don’t know any funny Democrats, although I do think the “celebrities” planning to leave the country if Trump is elected are hilarious. They just don’t know that we are all laughing at them.

            1. Let me get this straight. Left wing performers can use vulgar references to support your candidate, but if I comment on it, you’re offended? Where’s the tolerance Hillary supporters are so famous for?

              1. Your assumption is that I support vulgar comments? Might I ask who and when on the progressive side made such comments?
I abhor vulgar sexist, nationalist and racist comments from any source, and I don’t pass them on. I also abhor a false moral equivalency.

As you know I voted against Bill Clinton when he ran against Dole.
I still don’t like Bill, and think he’s a political liability not an asset for Hillary.

I vote on the issues and like Hillary’s pragmatic approach to governing. I also support a no-fly zone in Syria.

                1. I provided links to those comments in my post (click on the names Clinton and Trump). They are well documented. I think in the interest of our otherwise good blogging relationship, we should put political comments on hold until after the election. If Hillary wins I will be the first to congratulate you on your candidate’s victory.

                  1. No, I didn’t click on anything. Also never liked Madonna and don’t know who the other gal is. Don’t follow popular culture at all.

All I do these aye is read, mostly political history and environmental stuff. with the odd mystery. As for arguing politics, good idea.

Your turn to write, but please don't be wittier than me. My ego is quite fragile.
